The mission of this site is quite obvious: Save MTSU Philosophy. I created this blog to educate and encourage others to get involved. Philosophy inspires me, and I hope that this blog inspires you.
Upon hearing of the possible fate of the Department of Philosophy, I decided to write an e-mail a day and send a bundle of written letters each week. I will be posting those letters on this site.
Hopefully, education will prevail, and we will show MTSU that we will not tolerate removing key programs that are essential to higher learning.

Nota Bene
I am in no official capacity affiliated with the Department of Philosophy at Middle Tennessee State University. I am a former MTSU student, and I studied philosophy and applied mathematics.
I created this blog as a forum for communication in support of higher education. My hope is that we can work together to come up with a solution that benefits the students and the university.
The opinions expressed here are mine and do not necessarily represent the views of the MTSU Philosophy Department or MTSU faculty.
